To make the comparison, you have to use the verb TO BE in affirmative form: AM, IS,
ARE.
2) Compare your classmates. Use the adjectives: tall, fast, funny, responsible.
TALL
When we compare people, things or places that are not similar, we use NOT before TO BE.
Example: Mary is 19 years old. Jane is 15 years old. In this case, you have to pay
attention in the order of the elements that you are comparing or the meaning could not be
true.
MARY IS NOT
YOUNG
AS
JANE.
JANE
ISN'T AS OLD
AS MARY
