6 packages of ramen noodles
10 tablespoons of low-salt soy sauce
3 garlic cloves
2 tablespoons chopped ginger
3 tablespoons of sesame oil
1 ½ liter of chicken broth
3 tablespoons of sake (Japanese wine)
1 tablespoon of salt
3 spoonfuls of sugar
Preparation
1. Heat the sesame oil in a saucepan. Chop the garlic and brown them in the oil together with the chopped ginger. When this mixture is lightly browned, add the broth and wait for it to boil.
2. When it boils, add the sugar, soy sauce, sake and salt. Boil for 5 minutes, add the noodles and wait for them to cook, about 5 minutes.
3. Serve the soup. You can add boiled egg, breaded chicken and nori seaweed to complement the ramen.
