Charles Spencer "Charlie" Chaplin (London, England, April 16, 1889-Vevey, Switzerland, December 25, 1977) was an actor, comedian, composer, producer, director and British writer. She gained popularity for her character in multiple movies Charlot mudo.1 period thereafter, is considered a symbol of humor and film mudo.2 the end of World War II, was one of the most recognized men world cinema.His parents were also related to the show, especially the genre of music hall. Chaplin made his debut at the age of five years, succeeding his mother in a performance. By 1912, he had acted with the Fred Karno troupe, with whom he toured various countries.With his character Charlot, debuted in 1914 in the film Earning bread, 3 and during that year shot 35 short films, including To Die For umbrella, Charlot and Charlot dancing and fire. However, the most notable films were Chaplin The Gold Rush (1925), City Lights (1931), Modern Times (1935) and The Great Dictator (1940). His techniques included when filming slapstick, mime and other visual comedy routines.
