El imperativo en inglés, al igual que en el español generalmente es usado para dar órdenes, advertencias o instrucciones. Las oraciones imperativas se construyen de manera diferente a las oraciones afirmativas ya que se obvia el uso del sujeto, se asume que siempre será “you”. Mientras que el verbo solo se puede conjugar en la segunda persona del singular o del plural.

Imperativo afirmativo:

Verbo + nombre, adjetivo.

Ejemplos:
