His father's name was Donald Lenald Cobain and his mother Wendy Elizabeth Fradenburg. He also had a younger sister, Kimberly. As a child was very happy and very spoiled by his parents and from a very early age showed a taste for art however his life suffered an unexpected turn at age seven, when his parents divorced in 1975, an event that would have an impact deep in his life.
