El presente simple es una forma del verbo que se utiliza para expresar rutinas y acciones que se llevan a cabo con regularidad. se puede identificar en una oración porque va acompañado de partículas como "once", "twice", "three times", "always, sometimes, often" etc.
En él singular de la tercera persona (she, he, it) se añade una s al final de los verbos regulares. si él verbo acaba en y (como fly) se añade "ies" (flies, cries, dies, etc) Siempre se acompaña con él auxiliar Do o Does (tercera persona singular)
