Polar bears live in places like the Arctic, Canada, Alaska, Russia and Norway. They survive in the coldest areas because their bodies protect them from the freezing air and water. They are the largest carnivores on Earth. They eat seals, and they depend on the ice to hunt for food.

Because of Global warming, the ice in the sea is melting earlier than it used to and forming too late. For this reason, polar bears have less time to hunt and it's difficult for them to survive.
