Take a day off without getting so behind in my job that I wouldn’t enjoy it.

Make an investment decision based on reality and not wishful thinking

Buy something with cash and not credit

Enjoy playing games with a 5 year old. I could have done it 10 years ago, but 20 years ago I would have shot myself. Now my adopted grandkids bring me a ton of joy. And backaches. They want me to throw them around, and then when I lay down to rest, I become their fat grandpa trampoline. I love it.

Ask. I was getting better at this 10 years ago, but I’m far more fearless asking for a better price or a better deal.

Walking out of a play or a movie I don’t like. I hate doing it, but I sit on my ass too much as it is; I figure I’ve only got so many hours left on my tailbone before it wears out-why waste it on “A Wrinkle in Time?”
