He was born on january 19th, 1809. His parents were David Poe Jr. and Elizabeth Arnold Poe. Later, he studied in the Virgina University. After that, he published his first book in 1827. Then, he married his cousin Virginia Clemm in 1835- she died in 1947. His famous books are "The black cat", "the tell-tale heart", "the raven", between others. But he died on October 7th 1849 and he was 40 years old.
