Well, as we know, in the 80s internet wasn't a thing, so young people would work, learn, party, go to the movies, maybe go for a ride in the car to some random place, and just having fun with people around eachother, you had to learn everything with books and so on, of course, they didn't used social media, or play videogames, cuz those didn't exist at the time.
