Caminar en Hyde Park
Si quieres relajarte debes visitar en Londres uno de sus parques más conocidos: el Hyde Park. Lo cierto es que si miras en el mapa verás que es un gran espacio verde constituido por varios parques y jardines pero que se puede – de forma muy genérica- dividir en dos: de un lado del lago “Serpentine” está el Hyde Park y del otro los Kensington Gardens con el palacio donde reside la realeza británica.
Hyde Park es inmenso, por lo que puedes visitar los enclaves más significativos como por ejemplo el Speaker’s Corner y es curioso porque allí la gente va a dar sus discursos sobre diferentes temas. Se hizo famoso durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial ya que era el único sitio donde, sobre un taburete, se podía hablar mal de Churchill y sus políticas.
Otro icono en el Hyde Park es el memorial de Lady Di o también puedes dar un paseo a orillas del Serpentine y cruzar uno de sus puentes. Por último, recomendamos que visites el Palacio de Kensington y sus jardines para conocer más sobre la vida de los “sangre azul”. Prepárate para caminar en un espacio ver de la realeza.
