El THIRD CONDITIONAL sigue la siguiente estructura:

if + past perfect, ...would + have + past participle

(+) If I had known you were in hospital, I would have visited you.
Si hubiese sabido que estabas en el hospital, yo te hubieses visitado

(+) I had have bought you a present if I would known it was your birthday.
Te hubiese comprado un regalo, si hubiese sabido que era tu cumpleaños
