¿Cómo se forma?
Affirmative:
Sujeto + pretérito + complemento.
Negative:
Sujeto + did not + infinitivo + complemento.
Interrogative:
Did + sujeto + infinitivo + complemento...?
El verb to be es una excepción a esta gramática, ya que no necesita de un auxiliar.
Uso del verb to be en el pasado simple:
Affirmative:
Sujeto + was/were + complemento.
Negative:
Sujeto + was/were not + complemento.
Interrogative:
Was/were + sujeto + complemento...?
La forma del verb to be depende del sujeto de la oración:
I / he / she / it = was
He / she / it = were
