A dog who saw a doctor attend the funeral of a wealthy patient said:
"When do you expect to dig it up?"
"Why should I dig it up?" Asked the doctor.
"When I bury a bone," said the dog, "it is with the intention of uncovering it later and gnawing on it."
"The bones that I bury," said the doctor, "are the ones I can no longer gnaw."

Anonymous Short Story: The False Teacher
He was a renowned teacher; one of those teachers who run after fame and like to accumulate more and more disciples. In a huge tent, he gathered several hundred disciples and followers. He straightened up on himself, imposed his voice and said:
–My beloved, listen to the voice of the one who knows.
There was a great silence. The hasty flight of a mosquito could have been heard.
–They should never be related to someone else's wife; never. Nor should they ever drink alcohol, or eat meat.
One of the attendees dared to ask:
"The other day, weren't you the one who was hugging Jai's wife?"
"Yes, I was," said the teacher.
Then another listener asked:
"Didn't I see you the other evening drinking in the tavern?"
"That was me," replied the teacher.
A third man questioned the teacher:
"Weren't you the one who ate meat the other day at the market?"
"Indeed," said the teacher. At that moment all the attendees were outraged and began to protest.
"Then why are you asking us not to do what you do?"
And the false teacher replied:
- Because I teach, but I don't practice.
