Explicación:

Los verbos regulares en Past Simple se les agrega -ed, -d or -ied (si el verbo termina en y).

Los verbos irregulares cambian completos o un poco. Por ejemplo: Comprar- Buy. Compré- Bought.

Para hacer oraciones negativas con Simple Past agregas el axuiliar Did, que es el mismo verbo Do en pasado. Con la siguiente fórmula: Did not (Didn't) + Subject Pronoun + Verb in Base form + Complement.
