Existe una regla que sólo aplica para las oraciones en presente simple afirmativo. Al utilizar los pronombres personales he, she, it, sustantivos y nombres propios en singular, el verbo sufre modificaciones de acuerdo a lo siguiente:

Si el verbo termina en X, SH, CH, O, SS y Z, se le debe agregar al final “-es”.  Por ejemplo:  Fix = Fixes, Wish = Wishes, Watch = Watches, Miss = Misses, Go = Goes
