Mr. Martin Luther King Jr. was an American. He was born on January 15, 1929 in Atlanta, Georgia. He was a man who believed in the good in people to do the right thing. He himself was an activist, humanitarian, and leader of the African American Civil Rights Movement. His goal was to make a place for black people were they would be treated as equals. He did not believe in violence. He is most famous for his “I Have a Dream” speech. He was assassinated on the 4th of April in the year 1968. He was truly a remarkable man who only wanted to do right for his people.
