Husband: Actually, I did not. I had already left the store by the time you sent me the text.
2.Joe: Did you eat a lot at the buffet?
Erica: No I did not. I had already eaten a few hours before we went, so I just ate a few items.
Anne- How long had you been studying for this examination.
Sarah- Oh, a lot!!! I studied at least for three months.
A--It was so much, dear! I suppose you haven't had any vacance.
S-Of course not. And I didn't go outside any day.
A- Y can't believe it. Had you never had a little space for amusement?
