The Raven and the Jug
There was once a thirsty crow that flew for a long time in search of water, until it found a jug with a little of the precious liquid. The jug had a long, narrow neck and try as he might, the raven couldn't reach the water with its beak. Desperate, the raven thought of knocking the jug down and taking the water before the earth absorbed it, but the jug was so heavy that it would not move with the poor raven's attempts. After a while another idea occurred to him; He picked up some pebbles and dropped them into the jug one by one. With each pebble, the water rose a little higher, until finally it was close enough to the edge to drink. Happy, the crow took the water and kept flying.

Había una vez un cuervo sediento que voló durante mucho tiempo en busca de agua, hasta que encontró una jarra con un poco del preciado líquido.
