Colombia is a very beautiful country. It is located in South America.
Colombia is bordered by the Caribbean sea in the North; by the Pacific Ocean in the West; by Venezuela and
Brazil in the East; and by the Ecuador and Peru in the South.
In Colombia there are amazing people and there are also amazing places to visit. People in Colombia is
recognised for being very happy people.
On the last Censo Colombia had 47 million people but these days people in Colombia is being counted again.
Colombia has several geographical áreas. There are important rivers like Magdalena river, Cauca river, Atrato
river, Sinu river, Amazonas river among others. In Colombia there are important lagoons and some volcanoes
too.
Colombia has a lot of important parties and carnivals and Colombia has also an excellent variety of typical
meals. Its main export products in Colombia are coffee, flowers, fruits, tea, among others. The flowers fair, the
Barranquilla’s Carnival, Colombia Moda are events that occur in Colombia.
Colombia is a good place to visit and for that reason it has had many tourists nowdays nowadays.
It is important to say that in Colombia we have some famous people like Shakira, Juanes, Yatra, Falcao, Mariana
Pajon, Katherine Ibargûen, Orlando Duque, James Rodriguez, David Ospina…
The capital city of Colombia is Bogota and other main cities are Medellin, Barranquilla, Bucaramanga, Cali,
Popayan, Pasto, Manizales, Armenia.
