BATTTLE
A battle could be defined as a battle between two or more contestants where each of them will try to defeat the others. Battles take place more often during wars or military campaigns and can usually be well defined by space, time.
TOURNAMENT
A tournament is understood to be an event that involves competition between different parties (individual or group). In a tournament, participants compete for a price based on the development of different types of activities: sports, intellectual, cultural, religious, entertainment, etc. In general, the tournament takes place in several stages and involves advancing through different stages in which competitors are eliminated.
