THE GRASSHOPPER AND THE ANTS.
The grasshopper loved to play. He did not like to work. One summer
day he saw some ants. The ants were working.
"Why are you working?" asked the grasshopper. "It's summer. It's
warm and there is plenty of food to eat."

The grasshopper laughed at the ants. 'Winter is a long time away," he
