Explicación:
En afirmativo se pone el verbo en pasado simple, que termina en -ed si es regular (moved, walked, worked, played). Mientras que en los verbos irregulare uno tiene que memorizarlos para hablar bien (went, ate, broke y más).
Las negaciones se hacen con sujeto + didn’t + infinitivo. Así, didn’t es el verbo auxiliar que indica que estamos hablando en pasado.
Las preguntas se hacen con did + sujeto + infinitivo. También podemos usar las palabras who, what, where, when etc.
Cabe mencionar que hay una excepción importante.
Las frases con to be son algo diferentes. Incluso en pasado simple, no usan didn’t en negaciones, ni did en preguntas.
Por ejemplo:
- Was he at work?
- Was she alone, or was she with someone?
