Soccer uniforms, since the beginning of the popularization of football in the United Kingdom during the XIX century have undergone a constant transformation triggered by the search for lighter and more comfortable materials for the athlete as well as their advertising showiness.
From the heavy pieces (t-shirts, pants close to the knees, near stockings to this one) of cotton and boots that covered the ankles, through the long-sleeved shirts with polo collars and the introduction of color, to the development of synthetic materials specialized in the manufacture of clothing and light shoes, innovation in uniforms is a continuous process in which the big commercial brands struggle to position themselves at the forefront.

Los uniformes de futbol, desde el inicio de la popularización del deporte del balompié en Reino Unido durante el siglo XIX han sufrido una constante transformación desencadenada por la búsqueda de materiales más ligeros y cómodos para el deportista así como su vistosidad publicitaria.
