Going to

Se utiliza para:

1. Hablar de planes o intenciones para el futuro. Se usa cuando el plan aún no está organizado ni hay ningún vínculo que nos fuerce a llevar a cabo esa acción.

I´m going to see him soom. Voy a verlo pronto.

2. También se utiliza para predecir que algo va a suceder porque nos indica que en instantes podría pasar.

Look at that cat! It´s going to fall of the tree. Mira ese gato! Se va caer del árbol.

Se forma:

Afirmativa

Sujeto + Verbo to be (Presente) + going to + infinitivo + complemento.

1. I am going to sleep early.
2. He is going to visit her next week.
3. They are going to eat out tonight.
4. She is going to leave for Europe on Monday.
5. I am going to get up early tomorrow.
6. It is going to rain today.
7. You are going to study to be a lawyer.
8. They are going to build a summer home

Negativa

Sujeto + Verbo to be (Presente) + not + going to + infinitivo + complemento.

1. You aren´t going to finish that meal.
2. I am not going to cook for her.
3. He isn´t going to visit us tomorrow.
4. I am not going to sleep all day.
5. She isn´t going to get married with me.
6. They aren´t going to spend the day together.
7. You aren´t going to do it.
8. We aren´t going to stay home tonight.
9. It isn´t going to rain today
10. She isn´t going to run today.

Interrogativa

(Wh- World) + Verbo to be (Presente) + Sujeto + going to + infinitivo + complemento.
