Respuesta:Listen to a man interviewing a little girl about what she would do if she were a millonaire. Listen the things she says she would spend her money on. This audio text also means good practice for the conditional tense.
LITTLE GIRL:
If I became a millionaire I'd first of all buy my mummy and daddy a big house and a swimming pool. And then I'd get a car for my brother. He's only four but he likes cars.
MAN:
Would it be a sports car?
LITTLE GIRL:
No, 'cos he can't drive yet. It would be a plastic one, not a real one. It has to fit in the garden as he's too young to drive on the road.
MAN:
Of course, I didn't think of that. And what about you?
LITTLE GIRL:
I will buy a big cage and keep hamsters in it.
MAN:
How many?
LITTLE GIRL:
At least ten. I like hamsters and cats and dogs. And then I'd buy some nuts for them. The hamsters, I mean.
MAN:
And would there be any money left after that?
LITTLE GIRL:
Yes, a bit.
MAN:
And would you save that for when you're older?
LITTLE GIRL:
No. I would spend it next week on, on ...
MAN:
On another pet?
LITTLE GIRL:
No, I think ten hamsters is a lot so I'd pay for a taxi.
MAN:
A taxi?
LITTLE GIRL:
Yes and then my mummy doesn't have to take me to school in the rain any more.
MAN:
I see. You are a kind little girl
