Para realizar las preguntas en pasado simple y pasado continuo de la forma yes/no, es importante utilizar el auxiliar "Did".

• Did he drink the water when he was eating his lunch yesterday?.

Yes he drunk the water when he was eating his lunch yesterday.

• Did you go to the library while I was driving to the home the last week?

No you didn't go to the library while I was driving to the home the last week.

En el caso de las preguntas WH, debemos determinar que clase de pregunta queremos hacer, (que, donde ,cuando, etc) y siempre respetando los verbos a usar.

• Where did you go when I was driving?

You went to the mall when I was driving.

• what did you eat the last Sunday when he was eating pizza?

You ate a hamburger the last Sunday when he was eating pizza.
