THE VANIDOSO PIG
is the story of a presumed and foolish cedar, who boasted daily of his beauty. The cedar tree lived in the middle of a garden, surrounded by other smaller trees, and not at all as beautiful as he was. I am truly, something worthy of contemplation, and there is no one in this garden who surpasses my charm! - repeated the cedar in the mornings, in the evenings and in the evenings.
When spring came, the trees began to give beautiful fruits. Delicious apples had the apple tree, bright cherries brought the cherry tree, and the pear tree offered fat and juicy pears.
Meanwhile, the cedar, which could not bear fruit, lamented anguished: "My beauty will not be complete until my branches do not have beautiful fruits like me." Then, he devoted himself to observe the other trees and to imitate them in everything they did to bear fruit. Finally, the cedar had what it requested, and at the top of its branches, a beautiful fruit appeared.
"I will give him food day and night so that he will be the greatest and most beautiful of all fruits" exclaimed the proud hill of his creation. However, as soon as that fruit grew, it did nothing but twist the cup of that cedar little by little. With the passing of days, the fruit matured and became heavier each time, until the cedar could not hold it and its cup ended completely broken and ruined.
Some people are like cedars, their ambition is so great that it leads them to lose everything they had, because there is nothing as fatal as vanity, and we must avoid being conceited with the people around us.
EL CERDO VANIDOSO
Esta es la historia de un cedro presumido y tonto, que se jactó diariamente de su belleza. El cedro vivía en medio de un jardín, rodeado de otros árboles más pequeños, y en absoluto tan hermoso como él. ¡Realmente soy algo digno de ser contemplado, y no hay nadie en este jardín que supere mi encanto! - repitió el cedro por las mañanas, por las tardes y por las tardes.
Cuando llegó la primavera, los árboles comenzaron a dar hermosos frutos. Las manzanas deliciosas tenían el manzano, las cerezas brillantes traían el cerezo y el peral ofrecía peras gordas y jugosas.

Con el paso de los días, la fruta maduró y se hizo más pesada cada vez, hasta que el cedro no pudo sostenerla y su copa terminó completamente rota y arruinada.
Algunas personas son como los cedros, su ambición es tan grande que los lleva a perder todo lo que tenían, porque no hay nada tan fatal como la vanidad, y debemos evitar el engreimiento con las personas que nos rodean.
