The average life of crocodiles in their natural habitat is estimated between 50 and 80 years. This age varies depending on the species, the climate, the place where it lives and its feeding.
They measure an average of 6 meters. The smallest crocodiles measure 1.5 meters, while the largest crocodiles touch the 9 meters.
Crocodiles are opportunistic feeders and consume almost any type of animal, such as small mammals, reptiles, fish, frogs and birds.
The crocodiles are always on the lookout.

In extreme situations, crocodiles appear to be able to shut down and live off their own tissue for a long period of time. But most crocs eat much more often than that. In fact, the average croc eats about 50 full meals a year.
