La Semana Santa o Semana Mayor, es básicamente la semana más importante del año litúrgico del cristianismo ya que en ella se conmemora la pasión, la muerte y la resurección de Jesucristo.
Un texto redactado en inglés sobre esta semana podría ser el siguiente:
"The Holy Week is the most important week of the cristian and catholic liturgical year becase it's commemorated the Passion, the Death and the Resurrection of Jesus Christ.
This week is not celebrated on the same dates of every year becase it depends on the lunar calendar, but the main festivities of this week are celebrated on Maundy Thursday, Friday of Sorrows and of course, the Easter Sunday."
