Thanks for your postcard from Spain. I'm sorry I haven't written to you before but I have been very busy and very hot! Gerry's parents are here and we're doing a lot of sightseeing. They have read a few guide books and they want to see everything. We have done quite a lot so far. We have been to Mombasa on the coast, we have climbed the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro and have flown over the Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. At the moment I'm writing this letter on safari in the Serengety National Park. We just have seen some lions! By the way you ever have slept under a mosquito net? It's great fun! Anyway, I must go, Gerry's dad thinks he has found a scorpion in his sleeping bag!

It was my birthday yesterdayy: I'm 14 years old. Some people say I'm lucky but I don't think so. Imagine, in my life I have been to eight different schools and I have never stayed anywhere long enough to make a best friend. We lived in so many different houses that I can't remember some of them. In fact, last year we have moved house three times. It's true, there are some good things: I met some really famous people and we have had some great holidays - I have been to Disneyland at least four times, but never with mum and dad. When I was young, I always had a nanny, and she took me on holiday. I'm staying with my aunt and uncle at the moment because my dad's making a film in France and my mum went to Los Angeles.
