Molly Clarkson was a very rich woman. All of her family and relatives wanted her money. She didn’t want to give anyone money, because they just loved her money.
It was Molly’s fifteenth birthday. She invited her family and relatives to her house. They ate together and talked to the others. For the sake of Molly’s money, they quarreled with the others again. Molly was very angry. She said, “Nobody is getting more money from me, not before I die.” Then she went upstairs and went to bed.
Next morning, Molly’s daughter, Diane, discovered that her mother died on her bed. She drank a cup of milk last night. There were some sleeping tablets in the cup of milk. Someone put them into the cup.
Everyone doubted the others because they wanted Molly’s money, the more the better. The police talked to everybody and tried to find the killer. At last, they found the killer. Molly’s oldest daughter, Jackie, killed her mother. Jackie loved a man, Tom Briggs, a poor gardener. But Molly said, “A gardener was not a good husband for a Clarkson girl! “ Jackie killed her mother. She thought her mom never gave her anything she wanted.
Jackie was arrested by the police. Except Jackie, everyone got the money. Weren’t they really happy?
