The continuous increase of the population, its progressive concentration in large urban centers and the industrial development cause, day by day, more problems to the environment. The presence of strange substances (garbage, pesticides, dirty water) of human origin in the environment, cause alterations in the structure and functioning of ecosystems. As the power of man over nature increases and new needs appear, as a consequence of life in society, the environment that surrounds it deteriorates more and more.

El aumento continuo de la población, su concentración progresiva en grandes centros urbanos y el desarrollo industrial ocasionan, día a día, más problemas al medio ambiente. La presencia de sustancias (basura, pesticidas, aguas sucias) extrañas de origen humano en el medio ambiente, ocasionan alteraciones en la estructura y el funcionamiento de los ecosistemas. A medida que aumenta el poder del hombre sobre la naturaleza y aparecen nuevas necesidades, como consecuencia de la vida en sociedad, el medio ambiente que lo rodea se deteriora cada vez más.
