El presente simple se usa para habar de hechos o hábitos, el presente continuo se usa para hablar de acciones que están ocurriendo en el momento.

Presente Simple.

El presente simple se usa para hablar de hábitos o hechos. Su estructura es la siguiente:

• Sujeto + verbo en presente + complemento.
• Sujeto + don't/doesn't + verbo en forma simple + complemento.
• Verbo aux + sujeto + verbo en forma simple + complemento + ?

Cuando el sujeto de la oración está en tercera persona, se debe agregar una "s" o "es" al final del verbo.

Ejemplos:

1. She works in a hospital.
2. John does't like to play sports.
3. Do you watch TV at night?

Presente Progresivo.

El presente progresivo es un tiempo verbal que se usa para hablar de acciones que están ocurriendo en el momento, para acciones en el futuro que ya están planificadas o acciones temporales. Su estructura es la siguiente:

• Sujeto + verbo to be + verbo 'ing' + complemento.
• Sujeto + verbo to be + not + verbo 'ing' + complemento.
• Verbo to be + sujeto + verbo 'ing' + complemento + ?
