El pasado simple o Simple past se utiliza para hablar de una acción que ocurrio en el pasado y ya concluyo. El pasado del verbo "to be" es "was", y la estructura correcta para formar una otración en pasado con el verbo "to be" es la siguiente: I/He/She/It + was + complement o You/ we/ They + were + complement. A continuación te presentare algunos ejemplos:

El pasado simple es un tiempo verbal que expresa aquellas acciones realizadas en el pasado, que concluyeron en ese momento.
La forma en la cual se presenta el verbo TO BE en el pasado simple es:
- Was (Am, Is)
- Were (Are)
Del mismo modo, la estructura de una oración en el tiempo pasado simple empleando el verbo TO BE es:
