a loaf of bread is cut into slices of equal size. Some of the loaf is used in a recipe and 2/12 of the loaf is used to make a sandwich. The remaining 7/12 of the load is put into the refrigerator. What fraction of the loaf of bread is used in the recipe? explain. i need to know in 5 minutes

hello the loaf of bread that is used is 3/12 because if 2/12 is for sándwich and 7/12 is in the refrigerator then wee add a 7/12 plus 2/12 that is  equal to 9/12 and 9 for 12 are 3 or 3/12.
