Located in Mediterranean Europe, Italy is one of the European countries of great tourist importance both for its large amount of history as for its peculiar tradition and cuisine, making it one of the most popular places for sightseeing.

It is divided into five geographical regions, and among the most popular cities it has are Rome, Milan, Venice, Florence, Bologna, Naples and Pisa, in addition to the islands of Sicily and Sardinia.

Its official language is Italian, used throughout its territory, also giving way to dialects and derivations of the language such as Piedmontese, Sicilian, Sardinian, Lombard, Neapolitan and Venetian, among others.

Italy It has a somewhat variable climate, this depends on the areas where you want to go, if it is to the north, you will find wet and dry climates, while if you go to the south, the climate is usually mild.

Italians are nice and welcoming people who like to socialize with their family and friends. Conversation is an art for them and a crucial element in their daily life. It is common that, walking on the street, on public transport or in bars, Italians engage in spontaneous conversations. In the town squares, a regular meeting place for locals, you can also find numerous groups of Italians chatting.

They are a town very proud of its gastronomy, which includes two world famous dishes: pasta and pizza. Although the transalpine origin of both is somewhat questioned, as the Italians often repeat: nowhere are they cooked as in Italy.

The pasta and pizza take different varieties depending on the region and these two dishes are added many local or provincial recipes that give a great variety of cuisine to the country. The main ingredients of Italian cuisine are cheese, tomato, red wine, olives, olive oil and some products from the sea such as prawns, cod and tuna.
