Sujeto es la persona, animal o cosa de quien se dice algo, en cambio el sustantivo es el nombre que se le da a dicho sujeto.

 

El sustantivo además es una clase de palabra que puede cumplir la función de sujeto o núcleo del sujeto en la oración, así como otras funciones tales como complemento directo, vocativo, atributo, etc.
