This is a story about a little boy named Carl. Carl is 11 years old and he lives whit his father in a small cabin, when he was just a baby his mom abandoned them (they really don´t know where she is but they are better without she). 
They´re house is near a haunted maze, or at least that´s what people say, people also say that if you see a bat its time to run because they usually come compained by witches.
They really didn´t believe in that kind of tale until someone day the little boy decided to go around in the maze... his that was very worried for his son, when he heared a rumble in their yard, he scared loud "Caaarl? Are you there?" but nobody answered... so he took a knife and run to see what was happened... it was Carl, he was on his back the father worried walked toward him and turn him... but what was to be seen was going to take away the soul... Carl wasn´t Carl, at least not anymore, some kind of ghost had been token his body.
He runaway up the stairs to his room and as he had fallen the knife he took an axe that he kept, he ran down stairs to leave the house and when he see, his son wasn´t there; craying, the father ran fatest never and then he collided with a woman who carried asked what was happening ( she was his neighbor) and when he told her everything, she frightened, told him that since his wife had left him hi was alone, without a children, just he and himelf, they really never had a son because shhe was infertile and she had abandoned him because she said he was crazy, she said he heared voices and everytime she was scary when he called a boy whit the name ´Carl´
