In English, words as "very" and "much" are used to add emphasis, in some cases when the verb ends with "ed", comparatives or superlatives it´s not correct to use "very" instead we use "very much" or "very well"
Examples:
* He´s very fast.
* She has too much preassure at work.
* John very much enjoyed the game.
* He plays very much better than his brother.
* She´s a very well known piano player
