Sea x la longitud del primer tramo, luego los siguientes son (x+2) y (x+4) y por condición del problema:
x+(x+2)+(x+4) = 42
3x + 6 = 42
3x = 42-6= 36
x=12 y el tramo mayor (x+4) mide 40 pies
