My Best Friend in the World

I have many friends, but one of them is the most special person I’ve ever met. He’s called George and he’s really family to me. I can tell him everything and he feels he can tell me everything too.

We met when we were only teenagers and we didn’t spend much time together at first. We had different friends and we couldn’t get to talk a lot. One day, we spent an entire afternoon getting to know each other and we discovered we had a lot in common.

From that day, we never parted away. We keep in touch every day, even if it’s just to say hello, and we meet on weekends to catch up about the things that are going on in our lives. He always knows about some exciting show or concert and so we also go out a lot.

He’s an excellent cook, so he calls me over to his flat every time he wants to try a new recipe. He specializes in pasta, which is also my favorite kind of food. A perfect combination!
