Past simple:
Positive sentence: Subject + Verb (with suffix -ed) + Object
I played football.
Negative sentence : Subject + did not + verb + Object
I did not play football / I didn't play football.
Question: Did + Subject + verb + Object
Did I play football?

Present perfect:
Positive sentence: Subject + have/has + participle of the main verb (with suffich -ed)
I have played football.
Negative sentence: Subject + have/has not + participle of the main verb (-ed)
I have not played football / I haven't played football
Question: Have/has + subject + main verb in past participle (-ed)
Have I played football?
