The total area of the nation is 300.000 Km² and its an archipelago, whose capital is Manila.

This archipelago is made up of 7107 islands, which are classified geographically into three groups:

·         Luzon island.

·         Las Visayas island.

·         Mindanao island.

It has an estimated population of 102 million inhabitants in the island area.

The official languages are English, Filipino and ancestral languages.

At present it stands as a Constitutional Republic with a presidentialist system of government.
