You can make friends
You can learn a something about a work because they teach you those things
You can make your life better if you learn the lesson
Disadvantages
You could get murdered
The people in there are not friendly mostly
Some guards are corrupt
If get out of there your chance to have a good work won't be much
Its really hard to adapt to the process of the prison.
