1 PARTE: Once upon a time, a carpenter named Gepetto decided to build a wooden doll, which he called Pinocchio. With him, he managed not to feel as alone as he had felt until that moment.- How well I have stayed! - exclaimed once finished building and painting. How I wish he had life and was a real boy!As he had been a very good man throughout his life, and his feelings were sincere. A fairy decided to grant her wish and during the night she gave life to Pinocchio. The next day, when Gepetto went to his workshop, he got quite a shock when he heard someone saying hello:- Hello dad! - said Pinocchio.- Who speaks? - Gepetto asked.- It's me, Pinocchio. Do not you know me? - he asked.Gepetto went to the doll.- It's you? It looks like I'm dreaming! I finally have a son!Gepetto wanted to take care of his son as he would have done with anyone who was not made of wood. Pinocchio had to go to school, learn and meet other children. But the carpenter had no money, and had to sell his coat to buy a wallet and books. From that day, Pinocchio began to go to school with the company of a cricket, which gave him good advice. But, like most children, Pinocchio preferred going to have fun than going to school to learn, so he did not always pay attention to the cricket. One day, Pinocchio went to the puppet theater to listen to a story. When he saw him, the owner of the theater wanted to stay with him:-Oh, A puppet that walks by itself, and speaks! With him in the company, I'm going to make myself rich, said the puppeteer, thinking that Pinocchio would make him a lot of money.Despite the recommendations of the little cricket, who told him it was better to leave, Pinocchio decided to stay in the theater, thinking that he could earn money to buy a new coat for Gepetto, who had sold his to buy the books. And so he did, all day long he was acting for the puppeteer. After a few days, when he wanted to return home, the owner of the puppet theater told him that he could not leave, that he had to stay with him.Pinocchio began to cry so disconsolate, saying he wanted to go home that the evil puppeteer locked him in a cage so he could not escape.Luckily, his fairy godmother who knows everything, appeared during the night and freed him from his captivity by opening the door of the cage with his magic wand. Before leaving, Pinocchio took from the table the coins he had won by acting. Back home Pinocchio again had the normal prejas, when suddenly, the cricket and Pinocchio, crossed with two cunning thieves that convinced the child that if he buried the coins in a nearby field, called the "field of miracles" , money would multiply and become rich. Trusting the two men, and without listening to the cricket warning him of the deception, Pinocchio buried the coins and left. Quickly, the two thieves took the coins and Pinocchio had to return home without coins. During the days that Pinocchio had been away, Gepetto had become very sad and, worried, had left to look for him in every corner. So, when Pinocchio and the cricket came home, they found themselves alone. Luckily, the fairy who had turned Pinocchio into a child told them that the carpenter had gone to the sea to look for them. Pinocchio and cricket decided to go looking for him, but they met a group of children: - Where are you going? - Pinocchio asked. - To the Country of Toys - answered a child. There we can play without stopping! Do you want to come with us? - Oh, no, no, no! - the cricket warned him. Remember that we have to find Gepetto, who is sad and worried about you. - Just a while! - said Pinocchio- After we continue looking for him. And Pinocchio left with the children, followed by the cricket who tried to continue convincing him to continue looking for the carpenter. Pinocchio played and jumped everything he wanted. He soon forgot about Gepetto, he only thought about having fun and keep playing. But as he spent more and more hours in the Land of Toys, Pinocchio was becoming a donkey. When she realized that, she burst into tears.
