He had been lonely lately. He had gotten used to hanging out with her, but he didn’t realize until she started acting oddly. For some time she had been acting cold and edgy; she seemed to try to evade him, and whenever she couldn’t, she had anger in her voice, and was abrupt in her comments. He just couldn’t figure out what was it. The most logical option is that he had done something that had upset her. He wanted to ask, but was frightful of losing her completely. He thought that rather than an action of his, he might himself was the problem, and that lead to the conclusion that it might be better for both of them to stop spending time with each other altogether. He had another girl who was his friend, so he started paying more attention to her, but it wasn’t the same, neither in chat or in essence.

She didn’t know if it was because of her; the fact that he was acting like that didn’t seem to have a reason at first, but she started to notice that he was paying much attention to that other girl lately. He seemed to prefer her lately, and even if he was into her, there was no reason to act like that with friends; she thought to herself that she wouldn’t have acted like that, that if she had had a crush on someone else, she wouldn’t have treated him like that. She didn’t think herself on the wrong track, because her friends seemed to agree that he liked the other girl. The fact that he would act in such a way annoyed her, but it was the fact that she missed him what truly hurt the most beuriful.

Ella no sabía si era por ella; el hecho de que él estaba actuando así no parecía tener una razón al principio, pero ella comenzó a notar que últimamente le estaba prestando mucha atención a esa otra chica. Parecía preferirla últimamente, e incluso si él estaba dentro de ella, no había ninguna razón para actuar así con amigos; pensó para sí misma que no habría actuado así, que si hubiera estado enamorada de alguien más, no lo habría tratado así. Ella no pensó que ella estaba en el camino equivocado, porque sus amigos parecían estar de acuerdo en que le gustaba la otra chica.
