Appearance of the weeping. In the city of Mexico during the sixteenth century people realize that one night they began to hear many cries, sobs and moans of pain, that is why everyone worried, but they could not go out and see what happened, it was just a woman at which they might have abandoned.
Every day they continued to hear the moans and other sounds that she emitted, eventually some daring who were not afraid came to see what it was and thus managed to see her walking in his suit totally white and her hair loose crying all over the city, eventually somebody else followed her to see where she was going, but when she reached the lake she would disappear as if she had slipped into the water.
Nobody knows much about this woman, it is only said that she was looking for her children, that her cries seemed to have been brought from the underworld and nicknamed her as La llorona.
