Once upon a time there was a king who had 12 daughters who always destroyed his shoes for reasons he did not know since he took care of locking them so they would not go out at night. The king offered one of his daughters to whom he discovered the mystery. All the nobles tried but failed. A young man who has just returned from the war followed the advice of an old woman and managed to discover the great secret of the princesses. These escaped by a secret stairway to dance with 12 princes. The young man took evidence to the king and he fulfilled his word by offering him one of his daughters. The young man and the princess married and lived happily ever after

El rey ofreció una de sus hijas a quien descubriera el misterio. Todos los nobles lo intentaron pero fracasaron. Un joven que acaba de regresar de la guerra siguió los consejos de una anciana y logró descubrir el gran secreto de las princesas. Éstas se escapaban por una escalera secreta a bailar con 12 príncipes. El joven llevó pruebas al rey y este cumplió su palabra al ofrecerle una de sus hijas. El joven y la princesa se casaron y vivieron felices para siempre
