Simba was in danger on more than one occasion in his childhood by the traps of Scar. In one of these, his father, Mufasa, lost his life, murdered by Scar. The villain made Simba feel
responsible for the death of his father and forced him to exile from the Land of the Kingdom. Then the villain usurped the throne and strengthened his power with the help of his accomplices, the hyenas.
